Liverpool Transfers: If you’re a Liverpool fan, then your day just got a lot worse. The Reds have been in poor form right throughout the season and have failed to really make a mark in any competition they’ve been part of. They have been wildly inconsistent, defeating Manchester United 7-0 one week and losing to Bournemouth, who are at the bottom of the table the next week. Now, their only beacon of hope has been squashed too. The Reds were in pursuit of Jude Bellingham to join them this summer, but reports say that Liverpool has decided to pull out of the race to sign the midfielder. Liverpool Transfers: Kop NOT GOING TO chant Jude Bellingham name next season? Reports confirm REDS have pulled OUT OF BELLINGHAM RACE, Check OutSeveral of the Premier League clubs have shown interest in the England international, who is expected to transfer this summer. Dortmund is rumoured to be open to offers for the midfielder as this summer will be their final chance to make a significant profit.
The Times claims that Liverpool is no longer a contender to sign Bellingham. Jurgen Klopp’s side is planning to rebuild their midfield this summer, but they do not want to spend so much money on just one player. Bellingham’s asking price from Dortmund is reportedly £130 million.
Liverpool have cooled their interest in Jude Bellingham — as reported by UK media tonight. No bid as Liverpool will no longer work on this deal at current conditions. 🚨🔴🏴

They reportedly also don’t want to get involved in a long drawn-out saga with Dortmund, who are willing to play hardball and let the highest bidder have him. Jurgen Klopp is said to be a huge fan of the English midfielder, but the asking price is the stumbling block for the Reds at this point. They might look at the likes of Mason Mount and Youri Tielemans, who are both available on a free transfer this summer window.
Jude Bellingham options
Bellingham’s return to England has always been shrouded by the fact that Liverpool is a real option for the midfielder. Now that the Reds have decided to back off, there are still a number of clubs that would love the services of the Dortmund midfielder.
For teams like Manchester United and Chelsea, both of whom have a long-term interest in the teenager, Liverpool’s withdrawal is a benefit. Although they are reportedly interested in Bellingham as well, Real Madrid is reportedly unwilling to match Dortmund’s high asking price.

Paris Saint-Germain may decide to make a move as a result because the 19-year-old is considered to be a “strong target.” Bellingham is a player who Dortmund would like to hang onto for another year. The team intends to extend him a new deal, which would increase his annual income by 150% to £13 million. The source further asserts that a £131 million release clause would be included in his deal.
If Dortmund does tie him down to a new contract and include a release clause, that would give Bellingham the option to leave the club, while also ensuring Dortmund gets a hefty fee. With Liverpool deciding to back out of the race for the midfielder, the fight to get him got a whole lot more exciting.
