Liverpool set to go against PSG & Manchester United for talented Napoli striker

Liverpool joins PSG and Man United in pursuit of Napoli's Victor Osimhen. Transfer battle intensifies

Liverpool has entered the hunt to sign Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen. They will compete with PSG and Manchester United for the Victor Osimhen Transfer this summer.

Following a fantastic season in which Osimhen played a key role in Napoli’s first Serie A triumph since 1990, numerous big teams have indicated interest in the prolific goalscorer. The Reds are the latest club to show interest in Serie A’s leading striker, who this season helped Napoli win their first Scudetto since 1990. Jurgen Klopp is searching for a quality addition at the start of the season and will most likely inquire about the Nigerian’s availability.

Despite PSG’s initial bid of €100 million for the Nigerian forward, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis rejected it, demanding a much higher transfer fee, nearly double what the French club proposed. However, if PSG successfully sells Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window, they could potentially meet Napoli’s demands for Osimhen.

Liverpool’s pursuit of Osimhen faces competition from Manchester United, who are also in the race to sign a prominent forward. While the Red Devils have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, they are also interested in securing the services of the Napoli striker.

Although Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis previously stated that Osimhen agreed to a new two-year deal with the club, significant interest from top European clubs raises questions about whether the Italian club will consider offers for their star player.

Not only will PSG compete with Liverpool, but Manchester United will also be looking to add a big player up front. The Red Devils are presently interested in both Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Napoli’s attacker. It’s unclear whether Aurelio De Laurentiis will cash in on his best player. The president of Napoli had stated that the striker had agreed to a new two-year contract with the club.
