It could be a great scouting for the Merseyside club.

The teenager has been compared to Trent Alexander-Arnold. He is a versatile player who can produce excellence in the midfield and the defence. Klopp can use him as a right-back when it is required. This brilliant performance can help them out in future. The 17-year-old is a pure talent at Championship.

His story will take you two years back when he was on the bench against Arsenal at the age of 16. Archie Gray was a regular substitute under Marcelo Bielsa and Javi Gracia. However, he was not given his debut under Daniel Farke. The Whites might sell their academy prospect in 2024. The teenager joined the academy at the age of nine and improved his game.

Not just Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Everton are also interested in this young talent. The Reds can plan a bid for Gray in the upcoming summer. The young midfield sensation is valued at between £40m and £50m. His current contract at Leeds will expire in the summer of 2025. The Championship club may be forced to cash in next summer. They will get some funds to plan their investment in the summer window.

The best part of Gray’s story is his father Andy also played for Leeds before moving to Nottingham Forest. He also played two international games in Scotland outfit. His younger brother, Harry is also part of the academy and playing for the club’s under-18s. He is just 14 years old and he would follow the same like his father and his brother.
