Liverpool kept the pressure on Manchester City by coming from behind to beat Norwich. Milot Rashica had the ball in the net for Norwich after just three minutes, but the flag was up for offside. In the 38th minute, Virgil van Dijk thought he’d opened the scoring at the other end, but the offside flag again had other ideas.

Norwich made a bright start to the second half and took a shock lead, when Rashica’s effort deflected off Joël Matip and past Alisson for his first goal for the club. Liverpool went searching for an equaliser and they got it in the 65th minute, when Sadio Mané found the net with a brilliant overhead kick.
And they soon went 2-1 up, when Alisson found Mohamed Salah with a long kick downfield and after bamboozling goalkeeper Angus Gunn, the Egyptian rolled the ball home for his 150th Liverpool goal.

The points were then effectively secured 10 minutes from time, when Luis Díaz scored his first Liverpool goal with a brilliant dinked finish.
