Lionel Messi Transfer: There have been several rumours about where Leo Messi will head after he leaves PSG. He has not agreed to a contract extension with PSG and there’s very little chance that he will. There were even rumours that he could move to Saudi after Al-Hilal reportedly offered him £400 million. There have been many rumours as to where Lionel Messi could be moving after he leaves PSG. There was news that he could be reuniting with his old rival Cristiano Ronaldo in Riyadh. Apparently, after bringing Ronaldo to Saudi with a world-record deal, another Saudi club, Al-Hilal offered Messi £400 million. Ahead of Al-Hilal’s King Cup of Champions final match, their coach was asked about the matter, but he refused to answer. As per reports, Lionel Messi has not agreed to any such deals and will only take any decision on his future after the season ends.

Lionel Messi’s contract with PSG ends on June, 2023. PSG presented him with new offers to extend his deal, but he did not sign any contracts. Apparently, Messi’s father Jorge Messi informed PSG earlier that Messi will be leaving the club at the end of the season. Since Messi refused PSG’s offers, there have been multiple rumours about Messi’s future. Mostly, he has been linked with a move to Saudi on another record-breaking fee, or a move back to Barcelona, or to the David Beckham co-owned MLS side Inter Miami.

There is very little chance that Leo Messi leave Europe at this stage. His performance in the World Cup and for PSG have proved that he still has some good years left ahead of him. He can still help his team in many ways. After he won the World Cup, many wondered if Messi would retire from his international career or the game itself. He is 35 years old, so even if he did, it wouldn’t have been a surprise. However, he decided that he would not leave. He said that he wants to play more games with his country as a World Cup champion.

He said, “I won the Copa America and the World Cup in a short time. I love what I do, being in the national team, and I want to continue living a few more games being world champion.” Messi has shown that he wants to achieve football’s biggest trophies. Before joining PSG, he said he wanted to win another Champions League and he was sure he could do that with PSG. However, during his time at PSG, he has not been able to achieve his dream and it seems now that his time in France is at an end.

However, there could be a chance that Messi still wants to stay in Europe to win another Champions League for the last time before he moves on to Saudi or America. He is Saudi’s tourism ambassador, so he has somewhat of a relationship with the country which could lead to his transfer at a later stage. He also has a friendly relationship with David Beckham and even has a home in Miami, Florida. Before moving to any of these two places, he could decide to stay in Europe, but that decision will come after he finishes this season with PSG.
