The Argentine skipper went through a red light and crossed an intersection where he narrowly escaped high-speed cars, coming from the opposite direction. Messi is reportedly left unscathed and was been escorted by the Florida State Police.

Lionel Messi is scheduled to join David Beckham’s Inter Miami CF on 16th July as a free agent. The Argentine World Cup Winning captain ended his stay with PSG and left the Parisian Giants as a free agent to take on a new adventure in the USA.
But prior to his unveiling, Messi survived a massive scare. Messi who was out traveling on the road survived a major scare. Though the superstar was escorted by the Florida State Police, he failed to stop at a red light junction. As a result, Messi brought his car into a stream of traffic with cars traveling at high speeds from opposite directions.

Lionel Messi won the most coveted trophy of his life when he won the World Cup last year. He always wanted to achieve great success with his national team, but it eluded him. The World Cup was his 3rd trophy in the span of 2 years.
Recently, during an interview with an Argentine TV network, Messi revealed what he would’ve done if they did not win the trophy this time. He said, “I enjoyed very much every moment throughout the World Cup. I enjoyed it like I had never done before.”
But now it is time for a different challenge for the superstar as he is keen to offer his trade in the United States of America.
