As Messi came back after playing Champions league fixture for his club PSG, reportedly thieves break into his hotel room and robbed him of jewelery and cash. The reported incident happened in his five-star room where he lives with his wife and 3 childern in Paris.

Lionel Messi Robbed – Messi & Wife looted: According to a report by The Sun, the jewellery was worth thousands of pounds and the gang of thieves broke in Messi’s room via hotel’s roof.
Messi is currently staying in Paris in a luxury hotel Le Royal Monceau. He is reportedly paying 23,000 USD per night for 4 room Royal Suite in the hotel. The thieves entered his room via an unlocked balcony door, one floor above superstar suite.
Lionel Messi Robbed – How much cash & jewellery was taken by the masked thieves?
According to the report, Messi who joined from Barcelona in August & is yet to move into his own house in Paris – lost almost $40,000 worth jewellery & also $15K Cash.
The hotel as well the local police has declared that they are conducting “investigation” in the matter.
Security was ramped up in August after Messi, 34, moved in with wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their three children. On Wednesday, crash barriers were put up when he returned from scoring in the club’s Champions League win over Man City.
Messi soon to move into his own house: He has reportedly signed a lease for a family home and is set to move out. A police source told The Sun: “There has clearly been a very serious security breach and it’s being investigated. There is evidence to suggest an experienced gang was responsible.”
