Ivan Rakitic, Messi’s former teammate at Barcelona, recently spoke to Croatian news outlet Novi List, revealing that Messi once purchased his noisy neighbors’ house in Castelldefels.
Rakitic explained that Messi wanted to ensure that he and his family could have peace and quiet at home. Messi, who left Barcelona in 2021, had originally bought the property for €1.8million (£1.5m) in 2009.
