Leeds United Manager: Premier League: According to various reports, Sam Allardyce has reportedly accepted an offer to join Leeds United for the remainder of the season. The club’s current Spanish manager, Javi Gracia, who took over in February 2023, is set to be sacked after a disastrous campaign with the club. Moreover, Sporting Director Victor Orta will also be leaving the club. Follow Premier League 2022-23 LIVE updates with InsideSport.IN

With experience of managing 13 different clubs for around 30 years, Sam Allardyce is one of the most experienced managers in the world. The 68-year-old helped clubs like Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers, and Crystal Palace avoid relegation during his reign. Leeds United will be expecting something similar from him as the club is just out of the relegation zone, that too on the basis of goal difference.
However, Allardyce has only 4 games to save Leeds United, who are 16th placed in the Premier League table tied with 2 other teams. Allardyce’s job is not going to be easy, even if he is appointed for the remaining games of the season. Leeds will be facing table toppers Manchester City next before taking on Newcastle United, who are eyeing a top 4 finish this season. This will be his first managerial job after 2 years. Last time, he managed West Brom, who were also battling relegation but failed to avoid the drop to Championship.
Leeds United have been in a difficult position throughout this season and were in the bottom half of the table for most of the season. The team saw the sacking of two managers this season, but nothing changed. Under Javi Gracia, Leeds only won 1 point in the last 5 games, which resulted in the sacking.

“I am deeply saddened by the way that this chapter closes as Victor has been responsible for some of the best moments of my time as owner of Leeds United and I thank him and his people for all they have done in the past six years,” club owner Radrizzani said.
