Arsenal’s brilliant youngsters showcased their potential once again- In Aubameyang’s absence Martinelli stepped up and netted a brilliant brace scoring in the 16th and 28th minute. Saka added a third just before the break, standing up two Leeds defenders inside the 18-yard box before scoring after a deflection.
Arsenal had 11(!!!) shots on target on the opening 45-minutes against Leeds.

Leeds got a glimmer of hope after Raphinha scored from the penalty spot after after Joe Gelhardt was fouled inside the box. but all the chances of a Leeds comeback were soon put to bed after Smith Rowe scored on the 83rd minutes, firing home a superb pass from teammate Martin Odegaard.
