Kolkata derby on October 28 in the Indian Super League has been postponed for the time being. Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), the organizer of the league, announced this on Thursday. The most interesting match of the league has not been announced on this day when it will be held instead of 28th. The revised schedule will be notified later. The match that was supposed to be played in Mumbai from 5:30 pm on that day, the Mumbai City FC vs Hyderabad FC match will start from 8 pm.

Apart from this, one more match of East Bengal has been changed. The match between East Bengal FC and FC Goa was scheduled to take place on October 21 in Kolkata. But it is being moved from East Bengal’s home ground to Bhubaneswar. This match will start from 5:30 PM on that day.
FSDL said that this decision was taken due to difficulties in organizing matches in Kolkata on both those days. The then Mohun Bagan won the Kolkata derby twice 2-0 last year. East Bengal lost 1-2 at home to FC Goa and Goa won their home match 4-2.
Since East Bengal has been performing well from the start this time, the chances of a good fight in both these matches are high. However, the match against FC Goa will have to be played by the red and yellow forces at Odisha FC’s home ground and the derby will be played on another day. Fans will have to wait to know when.
