Kerala Blasters Ban: Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters REPLAY: Kerala Blasters FC’s protest with the All India Football Association (AIFF), asking for a rerun of their turbulent ISL Playoff match against Bengaluru FC has been rejected. AIFF has issued the charge notice to Kerala Blasters for the walkout, a violation of Art 58 of disciplinary code. In an official appeal submitted to the AIFF, the Blasters claim that referee Crystal John erred in allowing Chhetri to take the prompt free-kick almost 30 seconds after the foul. Following the walkout at the Sree Kanteerava stadium in Bangalore, a first for Indian football, neither the AIFF nor the ISL have released a comment. Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters FC: What Exactly Happened?

When Chettri was released down the right flank, the Blasters bench yelled angrily that he was offside. After some back and forth, the move went forward.
Chhetri was pulled down in the middle of the field, right outside the penalty area.
The Blasters defence was forming a wall while the referee remained at the location marking it out.
Chhetri looked up at the referee while the Blasters goalkeeper stood far from his line and attempted to set it up.
