The England international started in the Blue Lions’ 3-1 win against Italy on Tuesday but failed to impress.

He said, “Over the last year and a half I haven’t been able to do that due to injuries and other factors. It’s something I am going to have to think about.

“Hopefully my chance does come but if it doesn’t then I will have to make other decisions as well.

“I know that I need to be playing games and competing every weekend. I’m going to have to make a decision on my City future over the next months,” he said.

Coming to the match, England qualified for the 2024 Euro Cup by beating Italy 3-1 on Tuesday. Brace from Harry Kane and a goal from Marcus Rashford cancelled out Italy’s opener by Gianluca Scamacca. Jude Bellingham was instrumental in the wing again, providing two assists and taking the Man of the Match award home.
