Juventus will need a replacement of Paul Pogba if the French midfielder is indeed suspended for four years. If reports are to be believed, the Italian club could make a run for Arsenal’s Thomas Partey.
Pogba was banned by the Italian anti-doping agency after testing positive for testosterone, a performance-enhancing drug. Reports suggest he has been given a week to produce counter-analysis of the result.
Meanwhile, Juventus have already begun their search for a replacement. Their quest for a midfielder might take them to the north side of London. Arsenal’s Thomas Partey is one player Juventus have admired for a long time, and they could be finally moving in for the Ghana international with Pogba in doubt.

Partey’s future at Arsenal remained uncertain at one point of the summer transfer window. He was linked with moves to La Liga, Serie A and even Saudi Arabia. The speculation intensified with the arrival of Declan Rice. However, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta clarified that Partey was happy at the club and he considered Partey an important player.
But with Jorginho in the books and Partey inching towards his early 30s, the Gunners could let him leave if a substantial offer arrives in the summer.
Partey is currently coming back from a hamstring injury but the injury is not being deemed too serious.
Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is also understood to be interested in Nice’s Khephren Thuram. The 22-year-old French midfielder can turn out to an expensive signing. The Italian outfit will reportedly have to shell out around €35 million to acquire the services of Thuram.
