Juventus new coach: Massimiliano Allegri returns to Turin for second spell after Pirlo’s sacking Massimiliano Allegri has been appointed as the new Juventus coach, succeeding Andrea Pirlo, returning to the club for a second spell in charge, the Serie A side announced on Friday.

Allegri, who won five successive Serie A titles during his first spell between 2014 and 2019, as well as lifting the Coppa Italia four times and finishing as Champions League runners-up twice, replaces Pirlo, who was sacked after a poor season.

Earlier today, the Turin-based side confirmed the sacking of Andrea Pirlo.  He was appointed last summer with no prior coaching experience. Under his tenure, Juventus could only manage to secure fourth place after nine consecutive title wins.

According to Sky Italia, There are possibilities that other clubs would also want to sign Allegri and thus Juve wanted to complete the deal overnight.

The deal is almost final it’s the tenure of the contract that both the parties are discussing, according to reports.

In Allegri’s first spell as Coach, he guided Juventus to five Serie A titles in a row. In his tenure, the club also lifted four Coppa Italia titles.

Meanwhile, in Primer League, Tottenham Hotspur are also looking to bring back Mauricio Pochettino according to football london. Pochettino is currently at PSG while after singing a short-term 18-month deal. To get on the mark as manager Pochettino has won two domestic trophies at the Ligue 1 side.
