Real Madrid will be more than happy to see Bellingham return to Spain. They would have worried that Jude would aggravate his injury playing for England. Bellingham has been a significant player at Real Madrid this season. He has scored late goals to secure wins on more than one occasion. Madrid will hope Bellingham can recover fast and be back in action for Real Madrid as soon as possible.

Levi Colwill missed Chelsea’s game against Manchester City due to a shoulder injury. Colwill was unable to participate in the 4-4 thriller at Stamford Bridge as he was carrying this shoulder injury. Despite being unable to play for Chelsea, Colwill decided to report for England duty when he was called up.

England’s medical team assessed the Chelsea star. They decided that Colwill was not yet up to full fitness and sent him back to Chelsea to recover from his injury. This means England will be without Jude Bellingham and Levi Colwill for their final two EURO 2024 qualifying games against Malta and North Macedonia.

Gareth Southgate has a very depleted squad for the upcoming EURO 2024 qualifying games. Many stars are missing due to injuries. Manchester United and Manchester City stars Marcus Rashford and Kalvin Phillips have been permitted to join the team slightly later in the week as they have personal matters to attend to.

Given that England has already qualified for the EURO 2024 tournament, Gareth Southgate will not be too worried about these injuries. However, he will hope that his team finishes the qualifiers on a good note. England is unbeaten in the EURO 2024 qualifiers, and Southgate will hope it remains that way.
