Juan Ferrando steps down, Antonio Lopez Habas set to take over Mohun Bagan Super Giant

Juan Ferrando has resigned, and the former coach Antonio Lopez Habas is set to assume the role of head coach for Mohun Bagan Super Giant.

Juan Ferrando has stepped down as the coach of the Mohun Bagan Super Giant with former coach and director Antonio Lopes Habas set to take over the reins in the ongoing ISL 2023-24. Ferrando has stepped down following Mohun Bagan’s string of poor performances winning only one of their last 5 games across all tournaments and an exit of AFC Cup 2023-24.

“Juan Fernando stepped aside. Antonio López Habas is taking charge of the green and maroon in his place. He will handle the duties of the head coach for the upcoming Super Cup. Thanks to Juan Ferrando for winning the ISL (2022-23 season) and this year’s Durand Cup.” said Mohun Bagan in a statement.
