After his recent argument with Erik ten Hag, Barcelona is “considering a January loan move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.” The £73 million wonderkid of United has been fired indefinitely. Now, the manager has said he is unsure whether the 23-year-old would ever play for him again. Sancho made a public accusation that he was being used as a “scapegoat,” which aggravated their conflict.

Jadon Sancho could move to Spain in the next transfer window
After his outburst on Twitter, Jadon Sancho has been asked asked to practice alone. At least until the problem is remedied and he has been removed from first-team practice. Now that Barca are ‘keeping a close watch on his status’ and reportedly mulling a loan transfer, it appears like Sancho may have a route out in January.
The financial struggles of Xavi’s team will make United cautious. It also almost prevented the loan acquisitions of Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix over the summer. If Jadon Sancho were to sign with Barca, United could be required to foot a substantial chunk of his salary.
After loaning Ansu Fati to Brighton, the Catalan giants are lacking depth on the left wing. This might provide the 23-year-old with the regular playing time that he has struggled to find at Old Trafford.
Since joining the Red Devils in 2021, Sancho has scored just nine league goals. Thus, failing to live up to the promise he shown at Borussia Dortmund. In his final three seasons in Germany, he scored 49 goals, and he thereafter often played for England.
Sancho not apologizing to Erik Ten Hag
The Manchester club said in a statement that he will be training separately from the main group. This is due to a result of his refusal, they had taken disciplinary action.
The short statement released by the club read, “Jadon Sancho will remain on a personal training programme away from the first-team group, pending resolution of a squad discipline issue.”
Jadon Sancho’s manager attributed his exclusion from United’s travelling team for the 3-1 loss at the Emirates on “performances in training.”
Ten Hag said, “We did not select Jadon because of his performances in training. You have to reach a certain level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game he was not selected.”

Sancho’s statement
In his statement, Jadon Sancho said, ‘I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair.’
He continued, ‘All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team. I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what.’
Sancho’s social media post remains pinned to the top of his X profile. That is until now, as Sancho has since deleted the post from his social accounts.
