The England men’s supporters’ team boss Garford Beck reported receiving a “very sinister and threatening” email on Sunday, purporting to be from “Napoli ultras.” The message warned that “we will be there, 60 ultra to get you” if England went ahead with their planned friendly match against Italian supporters. In response to these concerns, the friendly match between fans was canceled.
“I received a very sinister and threatening email purporting to be from the Napoli Ultras this morning. It read, ‘You advertise this game for us to see where you’ll be. We will be there. 60 ultra to get you. Be warned”, Beck revealed.
The England fans’ game against their Italian counterparts in Naples on Thursday is expected to be cancelled today after organisers received a threat via email claiming to be from local Ultras. Story @TimesSport

No belts, power banks or phone chargers inside stadium
FA also released an email that read: “Some supporters who have attended a fixture here as an away supporter has had their belts removed and not returned upon entry into the stadium.”
“We would advise that you do not wear a belt where possible.”
Fans have also been warned not to carry power banks and phone chargers as they are also banned inside the stadium. Officials from the England Supporters Travel Club will have portable chargers at the stadium gates.
Chief superintendent Colette Rose, who will lead a team of UKFPU officers in Naples, said: “We will keep talking and do our best to keep supporters updated.”
England will face Italy on March 24 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the Group C opener of Euro 2024 qualifiers.
