Gyamar Nikum possesses numerous qualities and a great deal of development opportunities. He is an outstanding winger with remarkable quickness and dribbling abilities. The right-sided midfielder possesses excellent ball control and the confidence to go on defenders. He can also cause problems for opposing defenders with his speed and movement.

The 17-year-winner old’s in a memorable 3-2 victory over ATK Mohun Bagan demonstrated his tactical awareness and finishing abilities. It also needed a lot of poise to score the game’s winning goal after 90+5 minutes. He is a dangerous potential because of his ability to penetrate through the wing.

Gyamar Nikum, like any other young player, has areas where he can improve. While he has good positional awareness and raw pace, the midfielder has to work on his build-up play. A little more poise while in possession of the ball will undoubtedly improve his entire game.

Gyamar’s application while the team is out of possession is another area where he can absolutely improve. Tracking back and assisting the defence is a requirement for any modern winger. It would be interesting to observe how he performs in different tactical sets and adapts to varied spots in the formation under head coach!
