MCFC, who already have a set team, have acquired some some great additions to even strengthen their team. Following Ahmed Jahouh’s departure, the Islanders have roped in Dutch footballer Yoell van Nieff, while veteran centre-back Tiri has also joined their ranks.

Following the two away matches, MCFC will have three home matches on the trot against Kerala Blasters, Hyderabad FC and Punjab FC respectively. With the support of the home crowd behind them, the Islanders will be looking for a positive result in all of them.

The fixture list is bound to put a smile on Mumbai City head coach Des Buckingham’s face. The fixture list shows that MCFC will be facing the two giants of Kolkata football in their home turf in the fixtures released so far. The Islanders will play East Bengal FC on December 16 before facing Mohun Bagan Super Giants on December 20.

With the ISL scheduled to break to accommodate India’s participation in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, the Islanders will play their final game before the break at home against Chennaiyin FC on Thursday, 28th December, at 8 PM.
