The club is set to undergo massive changes. Though no changes to the colours or the crest will be done, the club tent along with the dressing rooms and the ground is all set to undergo massive reconstructions. Reports also claim that the club will approach FSDL via Mamata Banerjee to pave their way into next year’s ISL.
“We have been talking to Toyam Industries Limited for a long time. The contract will come out next week. That will show our lawyers. If the paperwork is correct, the club will run with them. We are bringing in new investors to play ISL. We will apply to play in ISL this year. Talked to the Sports Minister. The Chief Minister will put us together with FSDL. Didi needs help. How can we play ISL without Didi’s help? But before that, we have to look at the agreement,” said Danish Iqbal, club secretary to Ei Shamay Digital.

Bunkerhill is the present investor for the White and Blacks. However, things are pretty sour between these investors and the club officials. Though the exact reason for the dispute is unknown, it remains to be seen whether Bunkerhill decided to continue its investment in the coming days.
It would be a grand scene for Kolkata football when all the three major clubs participate in the top-tier football league of the country. Last year on Mohammedan SC’s Calcutta League victory after 40 years, CM Mamata Banerjee promised that she would help the club get investors and play in the ISL as she has done with East Bengal in the recent years.
