ISL 2021-22 LIVE – 11 Teams 11 Captains in IPL: The ISL Season 8 is about to start. 11 contenders will vie for 1 elusive ISL trophy led by 11 mercurial captains. Most of the teams this season have decided to start with new leaders on board. Mumbai City FC – Serigne Mourtada Fall 
Mourtada Fall is a Senegal international footballer and he plays at center back position for his national side as well as for his ISL team Mumbai City FC. Fall is the highest goal scorer in terms of defenders. He scored four goals in the 2020-21 season for Mumbai City FC.
ATK Mohun Bagan – Roy Krishna 
Roy Krishna comes from Fiji and he plays at centre forward for ATK Mohun Bagan. He is an attacking and versatile striker and is known for his goal scoring abilities. He was the top goal scorer last season with 15 goals.
Bengaluru FC – Sunil Chetri
Sunil Chetri is the captain of the Indian football national team as well as of the ISL’s Bengaluru FC. He is currently in the second position behind Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo with 80 goals and 115 goals respectively. Chetri is also the leading Indian goal scorer in the Hero Indian Super League.
Chennaiyin FC – Anirudh Thapa
Anirudh Thapa is the captain of Chennaiyin FC for this season’s Indian Super League. He is an Indian footballer and plays at midfield. He is one of the main players for Chennaiyin FC and helps his side by scoring and assisting goals.
SC East Bengal – Arindam Bhattacharya
Arindam Bhattacharya is the goalkeeper and is playing for SC East Bengal in this season’s ISL. He was the golden glove holder in ISL’s 2020-21 season with and is overall in the second position behind Bengaluru FC’s Gurpreet Singh Sandhu. Both have the same number of clean sheets but Sandhu has played less games than Arindam in Indian Super LEAGUE WHICH IS 29.
FC Goa – Edu Bedia
Eduardo ‘Edu’ Bedia Peláez is a Spanish footballer who plays for Goa FC in Hero Indian Super League. He is the captain for Goa in this season’s ISL. He is one of the important players for Goa and has performed exceptionally well for them in the ISL so far.  He is a central midfielder for his side.
Hyderabad FC – Joao Victor
Joao Victor is appointed as the Hyderabad FC’s captain for the upcoming Hero Indian Super League.He was the vice-captain of the side in previous season. He plays at central midfield. He supports youngsters and his full squad to perform well in the league.
Jamshedpur FC – Peter Heartley
Jamshedpur FC have chosen Peter Hartley as captain for one more season. The Englishmen have delivered consistently in Hero ISL so far and have won two Hero of the Match awards in 19 games in last season.
Kerala Blasters FC – Jessel Allen Carneiro
Jessel Carneiro will be reading Kerala Blasters FC i9n this season’s Hero ISL. He plays at left back. He has made 34 appearances since joining Kerala Blasters in 2019-20 season.He was the vice captain for the side in last edition.
North East United – Subhasish Roy Chowdhury
Subhashish Roy will be seen playing the role of captaincy for North East United in this edition’s ISL. He is from Kolkata and played for various teams in the Indian Super League. He is known for his good reflexes.
Odisha FC – Vinit Rai
Vinit Rai is named as the captain for Odisha FC for this edition’s ISL. He has represented for various clubs in the Hero ISL so far in previous editions. He will be trying his best so that they can perform well in this season’s ISL. The last season was a season to forget him and he will try his best so that the same performance is not repeated by his team.
