Is Mo Salah leaving Liverpool, Tensions flare as Deadline Day approaches

Mo Salah can leave Liverpool in the summer. As per reports, he has informed Liverpool of his desire to join Al Ittihad. Saudi is prepping a 150 million pound bid for Salah.

Mo Salah Transfer: The summer transfer window is in its final stage and Liverpool fans should be ready for another shock as Mo Salah may leave the club. Liverpool’s stunning victory over Newcastle could be the final game of the Egyptian in the Reds outfit. The 31-year-old winger is has been linked with Al Itthad. He was the main target for the Saudi club during the summer transfer window and he is likely to chase his former captain Henderson who also moved to the Middle East.

The Saudi Pro League champions have reportedly offered a staggering three-year contract worth 65 million pounds per year. Liverpool have already lost their three first-team players to Saudi clubs this summer. Salah could be the fourth and the vital one who can leave the club and reunite with former teammate Fabinho.

Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp earlier denied claims that Salah can leave Anfield for Saudi Arabia. While talking during a press conference, the German said, “It’s always difficult to talk about media stories because there’s nothing to talk about from our point of view. We don’t have an offer, Mo Salah is a Liverpool player. Obviously for all the things we do, essential, was, will be. There’s nothing there, if there would be something the answer would be no.”

Despite this story, Mo Salah is likely to leave the Reds in the summer. Rudy Galetti of Sport Italia revealed that the 30-year-old has informed Liverpool of his desire to join Al Ittihad. Liverpool didn’t make a call yet and they haven’t yet agreed to a deal with the Saudi club. Al Ittihad have also informed the Premier League giants that they want a confirmation by Monday.

Salah can join the wave of the biggest departures from the European leagues to the Saudi league. Saudi is prepping a 150 million pound bid for Salah. It’s pretty sure that the Egyptian will make a heavy amount if the deal happens this week. As per reports, the Reds star will receive a weekly wage of 1.25 million pounds, including bonuses and sponsorships. He may cross Al Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo to become highest highest-paid player in the Saudi Pro League.

The summer transfer window will end next week and in Saudi Arabia, it will end on September 20. The Liverpool winger has also offered a private jet or unlimited plane tickets for his family. As Saudi did with Neymar during his move to Al Hilal, Salah will become an ambassador for tourism and investments in Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler also revealed the potential move. Fowler is in charge of the Saudi second-division side Al Qadsiah. He said, “Here in Saudi Arabia, I can tell you the Mohamed Salah story is generating even more headlines than back in the UK. The link is there because the Pro League is absolutely serious about attracting the BEST players. I’m talking from the inside here. I know what the plan is – and that is to become one of the top five leagues in the world in the next five to 10 years. And the only way to do that is to invest in real talent. Which is why I wouldn’t rule out Salah coming over here, if not this summer then at some point.”

He also added, “And even in this window, you just don’t know, because it is not really down to clubs any more, it’s down to the player. If he wants to leave, then he will eventually leave. Don’t be totally amazed if that happens in the next week or two, because the Saudi window is open later than back in the Premier League.”

The Egypt international will also get a similar offer like David Beckham’s move to La Galaxy. Salah will be given the possibility of having shares in a team in the future. David Beckham was offered the same offer and he set up Inter Miami in the future. This week is crucial and Liverpool will soon clarify the departure of Mo Salah to Al Ittihad.
