The second leg of the Champions League semifinal features Rafael Leao at the helm. With Alexis Saelemakers moving to the bench, the Portuguese winger rejoins the front three. One of three changes from the first leg is Leao’s comeback. The biggest shock is that Malick Thiaw starts in place of captain Simon Kjaer, who is instead benched. The other change sees Junior Messias take over for Ismael Bennacer, who limped out of the first half of the first leg.
Romelu Lukaku must make do with a spot on the bench, which is not surprising to see Inter remain the same from the first leg. Inter Milan went 2-0 up 11 minutes into the game in the first leg against AC Milan and did not look back from there. AC Milan could not salvage even one goal against them.

Inter went into the game holding a 2-0 advantage after Edin Dzeko and Henrikh Mkhitaryan had struck early in a flying start to the first leg. Striker Martinez sealed their passage, beating AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan with an angled finish in the 74th minute at a raucous San Siro, with Inter the designated home side at the stadium they share with their rivals having triumphed 2-0 as the away team in last week’s first leg.
Simone Inzaghi’s team won with ease after AC Milan displayed some promising moments in the first half, with Brahim Diaz and the returning Rafael Leao missing their best opportunities. However, AC Milan was unable to manage a single shot on goal in the lopsided second half.
