India vs Uzbekistan: Akash Mishra, Anirudh Thapa return to India playing XI in AFC Asian Cup

Akash Mishra and Anirudh Thapa make a return to the Indian playing XI for the AFC Asian Cup, stepping in for Deepak Tangri and Subhashish Bose.

Indian Football Team are gearing up to face Uzbekistan in their second game of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 Campaign. The India vs Uzbekistan game poses a new challenge for Igor Stimac as they eye their first win after a 2-0 loss to Australia. However, in a measure to bolster their chances, Igor Stimac has made some significant changes in the India Playing XI against mighty Uzbeks.

Akash Mishra, Anirudh Thapa, and Mahesh have been included in the lineup for the Match. Sahal, Liston and Vikram ruled out. While Ishan Pandita is back on the bench.

Akash Mishra has replaced Subhashish Bose as the left-back, while Deepak Tangri who had a stellar debut has been replaced by Anirudh Thapa. Mahesh Naorem Singh comes in for injured Lallianzuala Chhangte.
