Harry Maguire Transfer: Premier League: After several inconsistent and poor results, Manchester United might offload veteran defender Harry Maguire to a new team. Some teams from Serie A are interested to sign the English defender but on a loan. United are looking for a buyer of the defender as they look to rebuild the squad for Erik Ten Hag. Moreover, releasing a big name like Maguire will make way for wages and will raise some funds to sign his replacement. Follow Premier League LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Harry Maguire has been in question ever since he arrived at Old Trafford in 2019. He was sidelined for most of the season this year but was brought back in the team after first-preference center-backs, Parha Varane and Lisandro Martinez got injured. However, the comeback was disastrous for the 30-year-old as he scored his own goal against Sevilla in the first leg and was at fault for the first goal in the 2nd leg. As a result, the Red Devils are not out of the Europa League. Fans were not pleased with the performance they saw, as it was the same United, who were doing good in the competition and were favorites.
After the failed chance, it seems like United will now let go of Maguire next season and make space for another defender. He has been given enough chances to prove himself, but the team has struggled on most occasions when he was at the back.

Clubs like Juventus, Milan, and Inter are interested in signing the English defender but on loan. Chelsea were also interested in Maguire’s signature in the last January window, but United decided to keep the defender.
Maguire currently earns around £ 190,000 a week in salary and a loan move will not likely help United to get rid of his wages. United might not receive as much as they paid Leicester for Maguire, but they might expect atleast 50% of that as there are 2 more years left in Maguire’s contract.
