Harry Kane Transfer: Bayern Munich desperately needs a new striker and is reported to go all in next summer. Robert Lewandowski left the Allianz Arena to join Barcelona in 2022, leaving Bayern to search for another number 9. Although, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Jamal Musiala have done well this season, the quality which Lewandowski used to possess is still missing. England’s top goalscorer Harry Kane has emerged as a potential replacement, but not everyone is in agreement with the move. Follow all football stories LIVE on InsideSport.IN

While speaking to Sky Germany, Bayern’s legend Lothar Matthaus discussed Kane’s potential move to the Allianz Arena. Matthaus believes the asking price for Kane is too high and several better options are available. He said, “Harry Kane would be too old and too expensive for me. The price-performance ratio could speak for Niclas Fullkrug. He would probably be available for €20-25 million and score 25 goals in Munich. He’s already scored 20 times at Werder.”

Talking about other transfer targets, Matthus said, “Everyone is talking about Victor Osimhen for his sensational performance at Napoli. You never know if he can do that in Munich, but I think he would be a good fit. Randal Kolo Muani may need a little more room and space than a Bayern striker usually has, but he’s also good in the box and could work in Munich.”

Harry Kane is having a phenomenal season yet again, scoring 23 goals in 31 Premier League games. Moreover, he became the top goal scorer for England and Spurs this season. However, the numbers weren’t enough to win a trophy and Kane is yet to win one.

The 29-year-old will be entering the last year of his contract with Spurs. Despite that, the Spurs are not interested in letting Kane go for anything less than €100 million.

After witnessing the departure of several managers in recent years, and multiple failed attempts to win a trophy, he might be on his way to a new club. Manchester United are also interested in signing Kane.
