Harry Kane considering staying back at Spurs after Bayern’s latest bid rejected

Harry Kane may plan to drop his idea of leaving Tottenham but Bayern is not giving up as they planning to come with an improved bid for the Englishman.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane’s future is still uncertain and he is likely to stay at his current club despite the efforts from Bayern with improved bids. The Englishman may play one more season at Spurs.

Spurs have turned out two bids of £70 million and £80m from Bayern for Harry Kane. The Englishman is out of contract in 2024. Bayern didn’t give up and made an improved offer of £86m on Monday which was also rejected. Now, the latest update from the Evening Standard says that the Three Lions skipper is planning to complete his contract at Tottenham which is expiring next year.

Some reports are also claiming that the 30-year-old has been impressed by new head coach Ange Postecoglou. He has enjoyed training under the Australian. Postecoglou was appointed Tottenham’s new head coach in the summer and he started his job with the first pre-season game in Perth.

The North London club have set a big valuation for Harry Kane who is chasing the Premier League record for most goals in history. The Bundesliga club is considering meeting the valuation of Harry Kane set by Spurs. They can make another improved bid but things are not in their favour as the Englishman is looking to continue his spell with Tottenham.

Harry Kane is among several players who featured on Sunday against Shakhtar Donetsk. He didn’t travel to Barcelona for the club’s final friendly tonight. Spurs may keep their star player for one more season but the risk is also there that the 30-year-old can then leave the club next season as free agent.

Kane has been the best goal-scorer in Premier League. He scored 30 Premier League goals last season in a disappointing season for Tottenham. His club finished eighth in the table and failed to gain qualification in European competition. He is December 2011, while in the Premier League, he has netted 213 times in 320 Premier League games and is currently 48 goals off breaking Alan Shearer‘s record as the highest scorer in Premier League history. He has scored 213 goals in 320 Premier League games.

The 30-year-old forward wants to resolve this transfer saga by this weekend as the new season of the Premier League starts. If he finds no major development in his summer move then he will decide to give up this time. He is likely to start against Brentford on Sunday in the season opener.
