Henry was one of the central figures in Arsenal’s unbeaten Premier League victory in 2003-04. He had also shattered numerous records during his playing days in England. The most notable record was becoming the first player in the Premier League to score 20 goals and provide 20 assists in a single season.
Later on in his career, Henry joined Barcelona in pursuit of Champions League. He won the Champions League in 2008 under the guidance of Guardiola.
One would imagine achieving so many things would be the toughest thing Henry had to face in his life, but Henry has different thoughts. In an interview on Diary of a CEO podcast, Henry said he felt the weight of his father’s expectations the most
“The hardest thing I had to do was please my dad, the rest was nothing for me. Not disrespecting anything else that happened in my career, but that was so easy compared to what I had to do in order to please the old man,” Henry said.
