Kyle Walker is heavily linked with a move away from the Premier League winners ahead of the new season. Bayern Munich is keen to sign him and the deal is likely to happen. He might be seen in Bundesliga next season. This meeting came after the transfer rumours and recently, Pep talked about Walker in front of the media.
Manchester City has given the right-back a new offer so he can change his idea. Pep Guardiola has insisted he wants the Englishman to stay at the club this season. The 52-year-old manager shared his point on Walker and team-mate Bernardo Silva: “They are so important to us. We want them and will do everything. Replacing these two would be so difficult.”
Kyle Walker and Bernardo Silva both are linked with Bayern and Barcelona respectively. The Catalan giants are planning to make a fresh offer for Silva and Xavi is keen to sign him in the summer window. Meanwhile, Kyle Walker’s chances to move in Germany is still high as Bayern has put him on their wishlist.
One thing is sure the duo had discussed the future of the English defender. Pep’s statement proves that he doesn’t want to lose his best player for the season 2023/24. Both hugged each other after leaving the restaurant. Man City boss whizzed off on his Pinarello racing bike which had been guarded by a waiter. Pep Guardiola will be in action from the dugout today when his side will face Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley.
