Gavi Transfer: Barcelona Transfer – Barcelona are yet to come out of their financial issues. Now, if they don’t sort it out soon enough, they might be losing on one of their brightest players. Gavi has been unregistered by La Liga and clubs, like Chelsea and Bayern Munich are sniffing around to sign the youngster whenever they see an opening. No one knows what the future holds, but Barcelona coach Xavi is certain that Gavi’s future is at Barcelona. Follow La Liga LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Barcelona have been in deep debt for quite some time now. Due to this, La Liga denied the right to register Gavi as a first-team player. However, a Spanish court gave Barcelona permission to register him. La Liga then appealed and then the decision was rescinded by the Mercantile Court of Barcelona. La Liga unregistered the player from their website too as soon as possible.

This means that Gavi is now playing under his youth deal with Barcelona. He will also have to give up his #6 jersey and go back to his #30 jersey. His youth deal with the club expires at the end of this season. If Barcelona are unable to find a way to register him again under his senior team deal, then he will be a free agent by the season’s end.

This has attracted the attention of several huge clubs around the world. Reports said that clubs, like Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Liverpool all are following the registration situation very closely. Now, the news has arrived that Chelsea and Gavi’s representatives have already met. Chelsea are also willing to spend a huge amount to make Gavi one of the Premier League’s highest earners.

It’s also being said that to bring him over to London, Todd Boehly himself will attend the next meeting with Gavi’s agent and parents present. Additionally, he will apparently be one of the most important players at Chelsea. Gavi is only 18 years of age and he already has over 80 appearances for Barcelona’s senior team. His importance at the club is immeasurable as many have said again and again.

Recently Xavi was asked about the situation and he said, “I don’t think Gavi would be happy at another club, he has everything here.” He added, “He’s 18 years old, he’s a key player in our team. For me, he is a footballer who is outstanding. I don’t know what he is going to decide but, for me, his future is here at the club.”

Gavi, Pedri, and Frenkie de Jong have become two of Barcelona’s most pivotal midfielders in recent times. If everything goes their way, they will have a solid midfield with these three, but they desperately need a right-back and a second-option effective striker. Reportedly, Inigo Martinez already has already signed a deal with them. Lionel Messi could also come back, so Barcelona’s financial situation could be getting worse in near future.
