Indian Football Team unveil new jersey ahead of India vs Kuwait
India will be taking on Kuwait with a renewed zest after two disappointing losses. The new jersey, made in collaboration with sportswear brand Performax in the classic Blue with faded white tiger stripes will look to give them that boost as they aim for a win in the crucial do-or-die game. The Blues will be looking to give a perfect farewell to their skipper who called curtains on his 19-year-old career.
The Indian Women’s Team will also wear the new Performax kit in their upcoming international friendly against Uzbekistan scheduled for tomorrow 1 June 2024.

Can the Indian Football Team qualify for the next round?
Following a poor performance against Afghanistan in their previous two games, the Indian Football Team is in a precarious situation, with just two teams advancing to the third round after six matches. They began their campaign with a 1-0 victory against Kuwait, but a 3-0 defeat to Qatar in Bhubaneshwar did not help their cause, and the draw and loss to Afghanistan only made India’s task more tough.
Although India is now second in the group with four points from as many games, the Sunil Chhetri-led squad is just ahead of Afghanistan on goal difference. India has to win both of its remaining games and cannot afford to lose another point to advance to the next round.
