Though double fixtures bring with them the uncertainty of player unavailability and squad rotation, we take a look at what we here at InsideSport. In think should be the ideal picks for this exclusive game week. Despite being a double game week, we will be including a few players who are scheduled to play just a single game this week.
Fellow managers, here is our scout selection for FPL GW 26:-
Goal-Keeper:
Aaron Ramsdale is our choice for the man under the sticks for GW 26. We believe the Arsenal goalie is the safest choice that managers can have for this week. Arsenal would be facing Brentford at home and Wolves Away which are relatively easy games for the Gunners. Moreover, Ramsdale has a cheap budget of just 5.1 mil, and is the fifth-highest point-getter among the goalies in this season.
Defenders:
Trent Alexander-Arnold has the highest points in FPL in the defenders categoryTrent Alexander Arnold: The Liverpool full-back is one of the first picks of the playing XI. With 156 points TAA is the highest point scorer amongst all the defenders of the league. With favourable fixtures against Norwich and Leeds, TAA will be the most sought defender in this game week. Liverpool will be playing both the fixtures in Anfield and thus it can be said that TAA will not only be proving attacking returns, but the stellar Pool defense in their fortress is likely to provide clean sheets too and thus can earn him the Vice-Captain’s band as well.
Conor Coady: The Wolves skipper is the next player on our list. Having a small price of 4.7 mils, Coady also has a double fixture this weekend against Leicester and Arsenal. Though both the games can be touted as difficult fixtures, Wolves will be banking on their fresh victory against Tottenham Hotspur last week.
Kieran Tierney: The Arsenal left-back can be a valuable asset in this game week. Easy fixtures against Brentford and Wolves will provide extensive attacking options for Tierney. With 31 points in the last 4 fixtures and Arsenal on a good run, Tierney must be a sure fit in the team.

Midfielders:
Liverpool sensation, Mohamed Salah is our captain’s pick for FPL GW 26Mo Salah: Mohammed or Mo Salah is one of the first picks in our squad for this game week. Easily our Captain choice for the weekend, Salah will be eyeing to get back into his scoring form after making a comeback to the team following his international duties. With Jurgen Klopp confirming that Diego Jota is being ruled out with injury, Salah will be a sure-shot starter. With 181 points this season, Salah is the highest point scorer in FPL.
Bruno Fernandes: While most managers will have a reserved opinion about Bruno Fernandes, we believe this is a perfect opportunity to keep Bruno in the squad. Despite having just a single match this week, Manchester United will be playing against Leeds in the Roses Derby. In GW1 and in the reverse fixture, Bruno registered his first hattrick in the EPL and scored 20 points. A fixture against Leeds is bound to have goals and what better option than to have Bruno Fernandes who broke his goal drought last week against Brighton.
Bukayoko Saka: The Arsenal midfielder will have a chance to shine and earn some good points in this game week. With easy fixtures, Arsenal would be banking on their forward players to make a significant mark in the game. And Saka has all the capabilities in him to be a significant player. Moreover, Saks also has the highest score as a midfield in Arsenal in FPL this season.
Jarrod Bowen: Yet another player who has just a single fixture this weekend, but will find his place in our squad is West Ham’s, Jarrod Bowen. With 3 goals in the last 4 fixtures and 33 points in the last 4 games, Bowen will keep his place in the team. Moreover, an easy fixture against Newcastle will see Bowen providing ample attacking options. Bowen would be one of our key Vice-captain picks.

Forwards:
Cristiano Ronaldo will leading the front line of this game week with his fixture against LeedsCristiano Ronaldo: Back on his scoring form, Cristiano Ronaldo will lead our front line despite having a single fixture. Ronaldo broke his goal drought by scoring the opener against Brighton has week. With an easy fixture against Leeds which is touted to see lots of goals, we can expect the Portuguese to score quite a few goals.
Raul Jimenez: The Mexican striker will be eyeing to add up his goal tally. Having scored against Spurs in the last week, Jimenez will be eager to extend his good form. Moreover, a double fixture this week is a perfect opportunity for us to keep Jimenez in the lineup.
Michail Antonio: The highest point-getter among the forwards this season in FPL is our third and final forward to feature in this list. Antonio has been in a relatively form off late and will be playing an easy fixture against Newcastle United and thus this provides the perfect opportunity for Antonio to get back into scoring ways.
