Fantasy Premier League 2022-23: Top Captain picks for Gameweek 2
The usual suspects of Mo Salah and Erling Haaland will be the key choices for managers to pick their captains for Gameweek 2. The forward duo brought in huge points in Gameweek 1. Managers have already turned their back on Tottenham Hotspur and England skipper Harry Kane after he failed to bring returns on Gw 1. Kane’s price saw a 0.1 drop while Haaland’s price rose by 0.1 after many opted for the new Manchester City forward.
Selecting the captain will be a tricky choice for the managers. Though Mo Salah and Liverpool have an easy fixture against Crystal Palace, however, Salah has rarely managed to bring big returns on Gw 2 in recent years. On the flip side, the latest reports claim that Erling has a slight niggle and Pep Guardiola could very well bench his striker depending on the severity of the injury or discomfort.
Differential picks for Gameweek 2
Reece James of Chelsea will be one of the top differential picks for the upcoming game week. Among other options, Kieran Tripper and Zinchenko will be also good budget buys for managers looking for defenders who can give attacking returns.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka will be a good fit for any team and will also be a good differential for managers who need a consistent midfielder who can give points.
