Chelsea FC after its sale to new owner Todd Boehly is yet to make significant progress in the transfer window. Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku is nearing a loan deal back to Inter Milan which creates an opening in the Chelsea forward lineup. On the other hand, Raheem Sterling who has lost his favor with Pep Guardiola is unsure about his future.

Raheem Sterling has a year left on his contract which is set to expire in 2023. Manchester City have already signed Erling Haaland for a considerable fee will let Sterling leave but not without a hefty transfer fee of £50-60 million. Sterling wants more game time and wants to be with a club that challenges for the title and aims to win trophies.
