Motaali was severely injured by Tiago’s attack. Last year in October, the forward denied the allegations and is on unconditional bail since then. Moreover, his trial is in September. The breed of the dog is unknown with Nelson previously sharing a picture of a French bulldog-style animal on his Instagram story. The criminal charge on the player might surprise Arsenal and its players and will be an unwelcome distraction for the table toppers.

If Arsenal decides to not renew Nelson’s contract, the 23-year-old will be leaving the club for free this summer. Clubs like Nice and Brighton are interested in signing him.
