Premier League: A Premier League player is now being questioned after he was accused of sexual assault on a woman. This was the third charge against the footballer, and the previous ones came in April 2022 and June 2021. However, the case from 2021 was dropped and now he will answer police bail in July following an extension having previously been due to answer this month. The victim from June 2021, who is in her 20s claimed that she was raped during a break in the Mediterranean. The girl fled a five-star resort where she had been staying to return home and has since spoken to UK police about the incident. She showed her scars and. bruising on her body following the alleged attack.
Now, in the latest case, he has been charged of assaulting a woman in Hertfordshire in February last year. And due to this, he is now being questioned and quizzed by the Police.
The player was previously held last July after police visited his home in north London.
I find it absolutely abhorrent that a player is allowed to continue playing in the Premier League whilst being investigated for rape charges. Shame on that club.

Due to legal reasons, the reports have denied revealing the name of the club and the player. However, it is said that, he is one of the notable names in the league and even traveled with his international team for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
So, as of now, there are two charges on the player and he is in custody for the same reasons.
