Mason Greenwood Transfer: Once considered an upcoming sensation in football, Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood is currently far away from reaching his true potential. Now, Juventus are now in talks with the youngster to sign him and revive his career. The 21-year-old was alleged of domestic violence in 2022 by his girlfriend and hasn’t featured in a professional game since then. However, all the charges were dropped in February, this year. Despite charges being dropped, Manchester United haven’t lifted their suspension and an internal investigation has been going on. Greenwood is currently training alone away from Carrington with a very slim hope of coming back into the first team. Reports also suggested that most of the United players are not sure of the dressing room’s mood when Greenwood will return.
Amidst all this, Juventus have shown their interest in signing the English international. The Serie A team has also contacted Greenwood’s representatives and are hopeful to strike a deal. Greenwood might receive a long-term loan deal from the Old Lady, which will also cut off United’s problem. He has 2 years left in his contract with United, which pays him £75,000 per week. Despite being suspended, United have been paying Greenwood his wages.

Other Serie A clubs like Roma and Milan are also interested in Greenwood’s signature. However, Paul Pogba, who has been his former teammate at United, might convince Greenwood to join Juventus over other teams. Pogba, famously named as ‘Agent P’ during the transfer window, has convinced players previously to join his team, and Romelu Lukaku’s transfer to United is one of them.
Greenwood had his breakthrough season in 2019-20 when he scored 10 goals in Premier League at just 18 years of age. He has scored 35 goals for Manchester United in 129 games and is well known for his finishing with power. However, the United’s academy graduate now believes that his career at United is now over as he told his close friends.
