Liverpool Transfer: Premier League Live: As rumours about Rodrigo de Paul transfer stories are spreading out more than ever, apparently, the new interested club is Liverpool. According to reports, Liverpool is looking to make several additions to their midfield after having an extremely poor season. Rodrigo de Paul moved to Atletico Madrid in 2021 with a £35 million fee and Liverpool could be offering the same amount to bring in the midfielder. De Paul has not been in coach Diego Simeone’s regular plans and he even thought about letting the player go during last summer window. However, they still retained the player after thinking of some important skills that the player could still provide.

De Paul gained a lot of fame after Argentina won Copa America in 2021. He has also shown some good skills which impressed the Argentine coach Simeone when he decided to bring the player to Spain. However, his performance after that has failed to give him a permanent place in the starting XI for the club. Hence, the club could decide to sell the player this summer window and get some return.

De Paul has also played a significant role in the Argentina team which won the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Along with his attacking abilities, he also has defensive abilities and a lot of experience. These skills could prove to be the exact mixture of skills that coach Jurgen Klopp need right now to improve their situation.

Liverpool are looking to make some changes to their squad, especially their midfield. Their main target has been Jude Bellingham at the central midfield position, but Bellingham is a hot prospect this season. A lot of big clubs around the world have targeted the player and there’s still no news on where the player will go.

Coach Jurgen Klopp could bring on several midfielders, so other than Bellingham, they are also looking for some defensive midfielders. For that position, they have been looking to bring on either Manu Kone or Romeo Lavia. Both youngsters are two of the most talented players in their age range. Hence, their arrival could provide a much-needed boost for the team.

Now, if their Jude Bellingham plan doesn’t pan out, for that they have targeted de Paul’s teammate at Atletico Madrid, Marcos Llorente. As per reports, they could also try to approach Rodrigo de Paul as well. Bringing de Paul could solve their problems in the movement to the final third from midfield as well as to the defense when needed. Additionally, in today’s date, if Liverpool manages to bring de Paul at £35 million, that would be a profitable transfer for them considering his skills.
