However, Tottenham’s joy was short-lived, as substitute Lucas Moura was sent off for a high challenge on Keane. The Everton defender made the most of the opportunity, unleashing a powerful strike from outside the box to level the score.

The result sees Everton move out of the relegation zone, up to 15th in the table. Meanwhile, Tottenham’s point takes them into the top four, but they missed the chance to go one spot higher.

Everton will be pleased with the result, as they continue their climb up the table after a difficult start to the season. Tottenham, on the other hand, will be disappointed not to have secured all three points.

Everton will now visit Old Trafford for their next game against Manchester United on Saturday. Meanwhile, Spurs will host Brighton at home on April 8.
