Manchester United vs Spanish Teams
Manchester United’s record against Spanish teams hasn’t been very promising, and the team lacked consistent results against them. They only managed to win 18 games out of 64 till the 2022 season. The team even missed out on the Europa League trophy in 2021 losing against Villareal, another Spanish team, on a penalty shootout in the finals.

However, this is not the case this season as they have won 4 games out of six and just lost one. Sevilla are the most successful team in the Europa League and hunting them down for the semifinal spot will surely make United the strongest title contender. The Spanish team has been a shadow themselves this season and are 13th currently in the league. Erik Ten Hag will have to find a way in order to tackle Jorge Sampaoli’s men, who can become tough when given the lead.
