The club earlier informed City Council and UEFA about their home matches to be not scheduled at Camp Nou from next season.
Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium will be the home stadium for the Catalan club during the 23/24 season. The stadium has a seating capacity of 55,000 and hosted the Olympics in 1992. The stadium was also the home stadium of local rivals Espanyol till 2009. Notably, this will be the first time since 1957 that Barcelona will not be playing their home games at Camp Nou.

Joan Laporta earlier mentioned the project in his speeches. However, the financial debts were a supposed retrain in the project but that seems to be now cleared.
Barcelona will be back at Camp Nou to play the games from the 2024/25 season. However, this will only be possible if the seating capacity will be available by up to 50%.
