The situation has forced manager Xavi to look for new players to strengthen the squad for European competitions. Barcelona has also been linked with a potential reunion with Lionel Messi.

Jordi Alba’s potential departure from Barcelona would mark the end of an era for the club. The 32-year-old has been a mainstay in the team for nearly a decade, making 451 appearances for the La Liga giants, winning many domestic and international trophies. However, with the club’s financial struggles, Alba’s departure looks certain.

Names of Raphinha and Ferran Torres have also reportedly been named in Barcelona’s summer selling list but it will be interesting to see who will depart from the club next season.
