Indiam Super Cup: Kerala Blasters Ban: While anxiously awaiting the declaration of the issued penalty following their ISL match against Bengaluru FC, Kerala Blasters begin their preparation for the Hero Indian Super Cup. The penalty is a fine of “at least Rs 6 lakh,” according to AIFF’s Article 58 on Kerala. The images from the Indian Super Cup have been made public. Group A, which also includes the recently crowned I-League champions RoundGlass Punjab FC, includes Kerala along with Bengaluru FC. The event will feature sixteen teams battling it out, and the champions will have the opportunity to compete at the continental level. To determine who would win an admission into the AFC Cup South Zone group, the Super Cup champions will square off against the I-League champions Gokulam Kerala FC in a play-off. Teams from the I-League and Indian Super League will compete in the tournament. The ISL teams and the I-League champions are given straight entry into the competition’s group stage.

RoundGlass Punjab FC, the recently crowned I-League champions, Bengaluru FC, Kerala Blasters FC, and the winners of the qualifier between the second-ranked I-League team and the team that won the eliminator make form Group A. Hyderabad FC, Odisha FC, East Bengal FC, and the winner of the playoff between the fourth- and seventh-place I-League teams make up Group B.

Group C consists of ATK Mohun Bagan, Jamshedpur FC, FC Goa, and the winners of the playoff between the third- and eighth-place teams in the I-League. Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC, North East United FC, and the winners of the playoff between the fifth- and sixth-ranked I-League teams make up Group D. They were just named ISL 2022-23 League Shield winners.
