This is a crucial year for the Blue Tigers as they have a number of important competitions lined up in the upcoming months (Intercontinental Cup, SAFF Championship, Asian Games, and the Asian Cup). The India Senior Men’s National Team will play matches against Myanmar and the Kyrgyz Republic at the Khuman Lampak Stadium in Imphal, Manipur, as part of the Hero Tri-Nation Friendly Tournament. The games will take place in March during the FIFA International Window. March 22, 24, and 26 are the dates set aside for the games.

For the first time ever, the senior national team of India will compete in Imphal, Manipur. The games will take place in the legendary Khuman Lampak Stadium, which has previously hosted both group stage games of the renowned Durand Cup in August 2022 as well as several Hero I-League matches. India is expected to take part in a substantial number of international competitions in the upcoming months. Together with the FIFA window in March, the country will also host the Intercontinental Cup and the SAFF Championship.
The newest edition of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 will take place in Qatar and is scheduled to kick start on 12th January 2024. The Qatar Football Association has confirmed that the premier competition will take place in the country after having successfully hosted the FIFA 2022 World Cup. Qatar who is the current AFC Asian Cup champion will be hosting the tournament for the third time.
