He visited the VBS Community Stadium along with his youngest son Cruz Beckham and his girlfriend, Tana. During the Premier League Cup quarter-final stage match between Brentford B and Arsenal U21 teams, Romeo Beckham was put on the bench as a substitute. However, coach Neil MacFarlane chose not to play the youngster even though he impressed with a late winner against Wealdstone last month. David Beckham attended Sutton United’s stand along with his son Cruz, his girlfriend, Tana, and 513 other supporters. He came to support Romeo who has previously shown his love for Arsenal a few times.
The match was not going well for any of the teams as it stayed 0-0 during the full 90 minutes of the official time. Near the end of the additional time, Brentford B went on a full attack in Arsenal’s half and owing to a clumsy challenge, Brentford B was awarded a penalty. The penalty was converted by the 21-year-old winger Alexander Gilbert and this only goal won them the match.

The young lad joined the Brentford B team in January on a loan from Inter Miami, where his father David Beckham is a co-owner. Since Romeo’s debut for Brentford in early January, David Beckham has made it his duty to attend most of Brentford B’s matches to support his son. He has disregarded however bad the weather has been to attend his son’s game on more than one occasion.
Romeo Beckham was a part of the Arsenal youth in the beginning along with his brothers, Cruz and Brooklyn. He was released from the team back in 2014 when he thought to switch up his career and took up training Tennis. After a five-year hiatus, he made a comeback to football. He then joined Inter Miami in 2021 and Fort Lauderdale CF later on. In the last season, he made 26 appearances for Inter Miami’s B team and netted on 2 different occasions.
