Nagelsmann has surfaced as a target for Chelsea in the aftermath of Potter’s dismissal and is available due to his recent departure from Bayern. According to Sky Sports, the Blues have misgivings about the German because he is still only 35 years old.
Nagelsmann has a good reputation despite his young. When he took over at Hoffenheim, he became the Bundesliga’s youngest head coach, going on to guide RB Leipzig to the Champions League semi-finals before heading to Bayern and winning the title in his first season in charge of the Bavarian giants.

Potter was fired after less than seven months in command after some of his decisions and lack of development on the pitch enraged his players. Some employees apparently lost respect for their manager to the point where they made Harry Potter analogies to the 47-year-old.
Potter has the joint-lowest points-per-game return of any Chelsea manager in charge of 20 or more Premier League games. The Blues will play Liverpool in the Premier League for the first time since Potter was fired on Tuesday. Temporary head coach Bruno Saltor will lead the club in the game.
