Julian Nagelsmann’s record as Bayern coach:
84 games: 60 W, 14 D, 10 L
71.4% win percentage
1 Bundesliga title
2 German Super Cups
8/8 wins in UCL this season— B/R Football (@brfootball) March 24, 2023
Nagelsmann’s girlfriend Lena Wurzenberger has left the German newspaper and the EX-Germany defender, Babbel said, ‘There was a lack of trust’.
She has now left the media organization completely because she was dating the Bayern boss. She stopped covering Bundesliga but it’s reported that there were trust issues at the club before Nagelsmann’s sacking, due to the relationship.
Former Bayern defender Markus Babbel told Blick: “I know that Nagelsmann’s relationship with a BILD reporter was a huge topic in the dressing room. It didn’t go down well at all that he was with her. His girlfriend was therefore a big problem for Bayern.
He also added, “There was a lack of trust because some players just weren’t able to communicate what they were thinking anymore. Because they were afraid that everything would end up in the newspaper.”
Nagelsmann had a separation from his wife Verena after leaving for 15 years together. He was on Holiday with his girlfriend Wurzenberger in Austria during an international break in football.
Bayern Munich took a surprising call and sacked their coach in the midway of the season. The club is standing second in the top flight and they are also in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. Nagelsmann’s record in Germany was great and won more than 70% of matches.
The former Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has been appointed as the manager and he will play his first match as Bayern head against Dortmund after the international break.
Nagelsmann was sacked by Bayern this week, with the club second in the Bundesliga, a point behind Borussia Dortmund. They have appointed former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel -whose first game will be against Dortmund following the end of the international break.
All stories will come and make headlines but it’s important to see Bayern’s story goes forward. Will Tuchel replicate what he did with Chelsea in 2021 when the Blues appointed him in the midway of the season after sacking Lampard?
