Bayern Munich sacked Julian Naglesmann and appointed Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked in September by Chelsea. Moreover, Naglesmann is one of the favorites to replace Graham Potter at Chelsea. Tuchel was asked whether he would recommend Naglesmann for Chelsea, the 49-year-old had a straight but harsh reply. Without mincing words, Tuchel said, “Julian is not gonna ask me because he doesn’t need my advice.”
Tuchel won the UEFA Champions League, and FIFA Club World Cup and helped them reach 3 domestic finals in just 21 months of his term. Despite producing good results, he was relieved from his duties last year at Chelsea.
Now, Julian Naglesmann might be taking over the role from Graham Potter. Naglesmann has a good record of winning matches as he helped the young squad of RB Leipzig transforms and then at Bayern, he won multiple trophies.

Graham Potter was appointed by Chelsea in September and handed him a 5-year contract. The start was awful for Chelsea as they failed to score any goals in multiple matches under Potter. After investing heavily in the winter transfer window, Chelsea were expecting results from the English manager. However, after a series of bad results, Potter was sacked on April 2nd after losing to Aston Villa.
Chelsea’s Next Manager
Several names have appeared on the list to replace Potter at Chelsea. Naglesmann is one of the favorites to be the next Chelsea manager, but names like Brendon Rodgers, Luis Enrique, and Mauricio Pochettino are also appearing.
Brendon Rodgers was sacked by Leicester City on the same day as Potter. On the other hand, Luis Enrique left the managerial role at the Spainish national team after the FIFA World Cup 2022.
